According to the team, Griffin will be re-evaluated when the Clippers return to Los Angeles on Tuesday. Griffin was averaged 21.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game at the time of the injury. It will be a tough one to get over but the Clippers have been in this position before. In last season’s first round series against the Trail Blazers the Clippers lost Griffin to a quad injury in Game 4 – they went on to lose that series. Now, leading the Jazz 2 games to 1 we’ll have to see if the supporting cast can step up and make up for the superstar’s absence.
